A long, broad corridor runs from Council Hall toward Freedom Gate. The walls are covered with beautiful mosaics depicting the kaer’s history and Ardanyan’s past. Once a year, the gate leading to the corridor is opened for festivities marking the beginning of a new year. On the first day of these celebrations, a new mosaic is uncovered showing the events of the past year. Dancers and troubadours sing of the beauty of the world to which the kaer-dwellers will once return.
